Reuven 1st step to his independent

TImes flies, Reuven has grown taller and now he is over 90cm, all along he is very excited to tapped with the our Ezlink card whenever we take public transport.

i bought him to the mrt station to apply for the concession card and he was so happy and immediately he grab into his hand tightly and shouted “this is my MRT card”. i decided thatt it is also time for him to experience to pass through the gantry  by himself. At that moment, i was thinking if he was able to reach the tap card and will he do a ‘U turn’ after he tapped the card or if the gantry will close on him ? a mixed feeling as this is the first time he is doing this alone and by himself.

In the end, i still feel strongly this is part of growing up and he is ready.

he conquer and pass through the gantry ! haha.. yes , it might sound strange to others that it might look like a smile task, but i am really relief and joy that he can do this by himself and the confiident face he put on after he was waiting the otherside for me.

i know he is growing up and this also tell me that time are clicking. He is getting more and more independent means we must even treasure the time we spend with him as the old saying, time slip through very fast without you even notice when good things are surround you.  🙂

Daddy and Mummy love you. 🙂

Learning to draw and Write

Today, Reuven was very excited about the colour pencils that was received yesterday from the birthday celebration.

I took this chance to share with him another lesson. At first i thought of teaching him to write his name , in the end i feel that he should be more comfortable ( as he is very happy when talk about shape)  and able to control his stroke. Then that will help to boost his confidence on writing.

imageFew months back ,i remember i guide him on how to hold the pencil, and today i share with him again, he hold it very well. I started to explain how to draw the triangle with those aided point. Such as demo, hold his hand to draw and keep repeat the steps.

imageLike saiding 1( continue from one point to another) , stop,(lift up the hand) , 2( join another point) stop, 3. ( join another point). He actually repeat what i said.

After a few practise, he manage to draw some decent triangle ! ( in green) . To reward him, i give him a star ! He is overjoyed and keep practising hard! He kept saiding, Daddy, i want stars !:)

Reuven 1st brushing teeth and able to spit water

Reuven has being trying to brush his teeth since the day he is able to reply with those make sense sentences.  Day by day, he is holding the tooth brush well, just wonder when he will able to spit? As current we are still using the toothpaste where is for toddler to start with.

Yesterday when i am bathing him, i as usual wash his head and body, and he spit the water put from his mouth! 😉 i am so surprise !:), we have a good time of this splashing water and a good bonding. 🙂 and he enjoy to use the water to spray on me. Haha 🙂

Reuven adventure

This is the best picture we taken out of 6 shots from this huskies sledge adventure.

Looking at this picture , i still remember Reuven’s smile was full of joy and he was curious and love those huge huskies( to him) . Haha .. It was an amazing ride with Reuven and My wife with the 6 Huskies.  His clothing was over size and seriously it was really cute for a toddler to be in this outfit!  and to my surprise , he is walking around with the snow and do not want to carry or hold by us!

Although he is not looking at the picture, don you think he is adorable with that expression. :).

Tough little one who is not afraid of cold and he keep expressing that he is happy !:) really melt both of our hearts.
